There are security checkpoints everywhere in the Palm Place which makes me think was I even safe there. You must carry your key card with you EVERYWHERE. Mind you, you have to do this every day all day to get to the main hotel for casino, food or entertainment. Had to walk through a through the casino, upstairs (escalators were broke the entire 3 day stay) to a long corridor that has the nerve to have one of those airport walking escalators to another long corridor to get to the Palm Place extended stay. I booked online through the hotel website for the Palm hotel ended up with the room at Palm Place the adjacent “extended stay” hotel next door.

the hotel mgr on duty said the pool was operated privately so she had no control over what they do.she didnt seem to concerned when we told her we would choose another hotel the next time we came to vegas. i asked the dj if it was possible to turn the music down and he replied. so we sat on the edge of the pool for a while but the music was awful(dj mix where the song goes on forever) and LOUD.

of course you could pay $15usd per person for a cabana-there were 50 of those available and not being used. and the ones that they had were in a row of twenty-herded like cattle in a pen. not allowed on your left wrist are you kidding me? to enter your own hotel pool? and once we got inside there were no lounge chairs available(it was noon). gotta wear a wristband on your right wrist. no jerseys allowed(had to go in topless or jerseys inside out) 7. cant bring in bottled water (coffee cups ok). had to produce id (we are all in our sixties) 5. no backpacks allowed just plastic bags 3. here are a list of rules we broke and had to correct 1. on attempting to access the pool we had to go through security-it was worse than airport security. front desk said we could store our luggage for 3 hrs until our flight. Got a great travelzoo deal and our 3 night stay was fine until checkout.
